SURGIFLO™ Haemostatic Matrix – MS0010

SURGIFLO™ Haemostatic Matrix is intended for haemostatic use by applying to a bleeding surface. It is for use only by healthcare professionals who are trained in the surgical procedures and techniques requiring the use of this haemostatic device.

The Flowable Gelatin Matrix provides an environment for platelets to adhere and aggregate within, building on the patient’s natural coagulation cascade.

The Flowable Gelatin Matrix is made of porcine gelatin.

SURGIFLO™ Haemostatic Matrix, following mixing of the Flowable Gelatin Matrix with sterile saline, contains a volume of minimum 8 ml.

Indication:

SURGIFLO™ Haemostatic Matrix is indicated for surgical procedures (except ophthalmic) for haemostasis, when control of capillary, venous and arteriolar bleeding by pressure, ligature, and other conventional procedures is ineffective or impractical.
